Denton Little's Death Date by Lance Rubin

Denton Little's Death Date by Lance Rubin

What if you knew the day you were going to die? 100%, no questions asked, knew your death date? This is not a hypothetical question to make you want to live every day to its fullest, this is the strange future normalcy of Denton Little's life. Everyone there knows the date they will die, thanks to a breakthrough in genetic science. Denton Little knows that his death date is tomorrow.

This means the schedule for his remaining 48 hours is very full. There's a funeral to attend (his own), plus the goodbyes for his family, his best friend and girlfriend. That means he shouldn't waste a second, especially not on his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend who wants to settle things with Denton before it's too late. He also shouldn't make time for a strange doctor who wants to reveal secrets about Denton's mom, who passed away when Denton was a baby. And finally, he has no time at all to deal with the fact that he spent last night kissing his best friend's sister, who is absolutely not his girlfriend.

This is a totally bizarre, off the wall look at Denton's attempt to get his affairs in order while trying not to be killed, even though he kind of knows he's supposed to be? Denton Little's Death Date will bend your mind a little, make you laugh and have you turning the pages to see if each remaining hour of Denton's life could possibly be more absurd than the hour before.
