WDYMYNR Week: The Goodnight Family Series by Rosemary Clement-Moore

This week we're going to shed a little light on some books that we love that have gotten a little overlooked....

Spirit and Dust and Texas Gothic by Rosemary Clement-Moore

The Goodnight family is unusually talented. That is, they have unusual talents. Such as communicating with the dead and seeing how a person died. Some might call them witches or psychics, but for the Goodnight's this has just been the way things always were.

What's so fun about these books is that the Goodnight daughter featured in each one does an entirely different thing with their talent. In Spirit and Dust , Daisy Goodnight occasionally assists the FBI with a murder case. While Amy, the star of Texas Gothic, is more of a kitchen witch. She'd really just like to have a normal summer, helping out on a farm, except for the pesky ghost that's hanging around. In two companion books you get mob heists, cowboy romances and plenty of supernatural activities.

These books are so much fun. And yet, a lot of people have yet to meet Amy or Daisy! Let's hope this post helps change that fact.

I hope that Ms. Clement-Moore writes another book or two about other members of the Goodnight family. You just know that they're out there, having the kind of adventures one just has to read about!
