Dylan Mint has a plan for his school year. He'd like a girl friend and to be able to walk to school with his best friend without getting bullied. Except this isn't just a school year list, it's a bucket list.
If you were pretty sure you were going to die in March, what would you want to get done before that?
The fact that his days are numbered is only the latest thing Dylan is up against. He has Tourette syndrome, so he's dealing with tics on top of trying to get up the nerve to talk to his crush. It's extra hard to ask someone out when there's a chance you might not be able to keep from swearing at her. Then there are the bullies who have Dylan's best friend Amir in their sights because his family is from Pakistan. Crossing things off his list of "cool things to do before I cack-it" is not easy.
This is not a sad book, instead Dylan is hilarious as he takes the reader on his quest to become cool. He's mostly fumbling through, but sometimes he gets it right.
