Katie McGarry Week: A Teen Review of 'Crash Into You'

This week we're dedicating our posts to author Katie McGarry! This Friday we'll have an interview with her and we're too excited to talk about anything else! To start off, one of our high school book club members, Sarah, tells us about her favorite Katie McGarry book!

Crash Into You by Katie McGarry

The first book of Katie McGarry's that I ever read was Dare You To but I really fell in love with her writing when I read Crash Into You
The main characters, Isaiah and Rachel, were so relatable. Rachel is the schools darling, gets straight A's, the whole nine yards, while Isaiah comes from the wrong side of the tracks. Their worlds collide when Rachel's secret love of street racing brings them together.
Throughout the book you learn more and more about each character, through the two perspectives it's written in, and how they ended up where they are today, and as you do you fall a little more in love with them and their story.
Beautifully written in a way that grabs your attention and holds it the whole time, Crash Into You brings out and talks about so many things at once and does it in a way that makes you look at life differently. This is a book about finding who you are and who you want to be, and is worth every second (and then some) I spent reading it.
