Mortal Danger by Ann Aguirre

Mortal Danger by Ann Aguirre

Edie Kramer was done with everything. The teens at the preppy academy made her life miserable and she was just done. But before she could do anything drastic, she was stopped by a man who promised her three wishes in return for a later favor. Sound suspicious? It does to her too, but when she's offered anything her heart desires, it's pretty hard to say no.

As with anything there's no such thing as a free lunch. When Edie picks a complete makeover as her first wish she's catapulted into a higher social status both at her summer science program and back at home. Her new look gives her confidence, but it also seems to come with some strange side effects... When the very people at her school that hurt her last year start to have some very unfortunate events happen to them, Edie can't help but wonder if her magic deal had something to with it. And then there's the very handsome Kian, the very guy who offered her the bargain and is her liaison with the dark forces behind it, how can she trust someone who's working for an organization that might be hurting the teens at her school?

This is a twisty, turn-y novel where you're never sure who to trust. Edie has a lot to learn after signs on for the transformation and she doesn't have very much time to learn it in. It will keep you turning the pages as the danger turns up and up!
