Middle School Monday: The Great Greene Heist by Varian Johnson

The Great Greene Heist by Varian Johnson

Jackson Greene is normally a man with a plan. He's known as the guy who can pull off the impossible, trick the untrickable and in general, if there is scam going on, he's the guy behind it. But, that was all before con got a little out of control and Jackson not only got in trouble, but lost his best friend that happened to be a girl.

Now that girl, Gabriela, is running for student council president and she doesn't want Jackson anywhere near her campaign. But there's something especially shady about her opponent and the way the administration seems to be backing his campaign. Jackson can't just sit by while a person he cares about gets steamrolled! Especially not when he knows exactly what kind of con needs to happen. He also knows who needs to be on his team. Now the only thing left to do is make sure everything goes perfectly and no one tells Gabriela.

This is a fast moving, hilarious heist story. If you are a fan of capers, you are not going to find a better front-man than Jackson Greene. He is charming, smart and leads a team that is made up of awesome characters as well. This is a well oiled machine that will keep you guessing and I am counting down days til we get another Jackson Greene led adventure. When he gets a little older, Danny Ocean is going to need to take notice of this guy.
