Spotlight on Summer: Origami Workshop

image used under cc license from user flickrfavorites

On Wednesday, August 7 from 3-4 PM join us at Aurora Hills to fold origami.

We’ll learn how to make traditional designs using origami paper and recycled paper from magazines and newspapers. Origami is neat because it’s a portable craft that you can do anywhere as long as you have paper so it’s perfect for long trips. Japanese legend says that if you fold 1000 cranes you will be granted a wish, so there’s always that reason behind learning to fold too. Materials will be provided, so bring yourself (and friends)!
