Up and Coming: Perry's Killer Playlist by Joe Schreiber

Perry's Killer Playlist by Joe Schreiber

Release Date: November 6, 2012

This is the sequel to Au Revoir Crazy European Chick (see our review here), a book so fun that it easily made it on to our high school TAB top 10 list this year. A book so fun it is destined to become a ridiculously awesome action flick someday in the not too distant future. A book so fun that we dared not dream a sequel would be written for it. And yet, here it is.

And guess what? It's every bit as fun as the first one. Fast moving, action packed and chock-full of Perry hilariously inept attempts to keep up with his action heroine, Gobi.

This time it's Perry who is across an ocean from his hometown. He and his rock band members have taken a year off before college and they have lucked into a spot as an opening act on a European tour. Things are actually looking up for Perry, for once. He even has a girlfriend, Paula, who works in the music industry. But one trip to the famous Harry's Bar in Italy and he's back tagging along with his former-exchange-student-who-is-actually-a-very-highly-trained-assassin, Gobi as she hurtles around Europe trying to complete another job, before it is too late.

The stakes are even higher in this edition. Lots of lives hang in the balance, including, Perry's (and the people he loves). And Gobi is, if possible, even more secretive than before. Who is she working for? Why is she in such a crazy rush around Europe? If she keeps telling Perry that she doesn't work for money, what is she getting in return for taking out these hits?

Gobi and Perry will keep you turning the pages faster and faster as you try to keep up with their international action. Not only that, but by the time you're done reading this, you'll have a playlist to look up that is just as killer as the name promises.

If you like action movies, but haven't thought about reading an action movie, get your hands on Au Revoir Crazy European Chick so you'll be ready in November, when Perry's Killer Playlist arrives on our shelves.
