Spotlight on Summer Reading: Movies by Moonlight

This summer the thing we may be MOST excited about is our new series of outdoor movies. We're showing two movies at Central library OUTSIDE on a GIANT SCREEN. This is our first year doing this and we hope that you and your family will be able to join us for a free screening. Bring your family and a picnic and get ready for a night at the movies under the stars!

Thursday, August 2 at dusk (around 8pm): Hugo
The first movie we'll be showing is Hugo, based on the book, The Adventures of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick. It's the story of a boy who lives in a train station and finds himself part of an adventure with a girl, an old man and an automaton.

Thursday, August 9: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows PART TWO (PG-13)

We'll start the afternoon off with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows PART ONE- We'll be showing this INSIDE in our auditorium at 4 pm.

Then at dusk, we'll move outside and show the final movie: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows PART TWO. If you didn't get a chance to see this EPIC ending of one of the most beloved movie series of all time, you are not going to miss this. Even if you did catch it on the big screen last year, we know we're already sad there isn't any more HP to look forward to and this is the perfect way to fill that hole in your heart!
