Rock the Drop: It's Teen Literacy Day!

Rock the Drop banner by the illustrator David Ostow

It's Teen Literacy Day! A day when we hope everyone will stop and take a minute to think about how "young adult literature is a vibrant, growing genre with much to offer today's teens." To do that we're bringing the books to you! This year APL participated in "Rock the Drop" a program, started by the blog Readergirlz, where people leave FREE books for teens to find all over the country!

Here are some photos of our books! We hope you'll let us know if you find them!

This one's hanging out at the metro...
You might be able to see a high school ball game while sitting where this book package is located.

This book package is chilling within sight of Central Library's front entrance.

Then, there's a bonus package waiting for one lucky (and thirsty) teen!

PLEASE let us know if you find one of our book packages!
Happy Teen Literacy Day!
(May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor... too soon?)
