National Gaming Day @ Your Library

National Gaming Day @ Your Library is coming right up!

This is a day when all the different types of gaming are celebrated nationally. We will be just one of more than 1,800 libraries and game stores participating in this years event!

We love gaming because it makes us (and you) think about strategy, logistics and it brings us together as a community. Also we get to try stuff out that we don't normally get to in real life, ie: being a member of the Beatles, a roman gladiator, a designer of railroad track layouts.

Come on by the library and TRY SOMETHING NEW!!

To celebrate we have a couple of events lined up:

National Gaming Day pre-party:
Teen Gaming at Westover Library
November 12 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Celebrate National Gaming Day a day early with Dance Dance Revolution!

The Big Event!
Modern Board Game Extravaganza at Central Library
November 13 1-3p.m.
We have a variety of modern board games (ones where you get to play on every turn and they have a set playing time) that we'll be trying out. Come to the library and try out a game you've never played before. See if you can beat our gaming expert!
