Rockin Reads for Teens Read Week: Hip Hop Break

If beats and mixes are more your style than chords and amps, we have lots of choices for you too. You might enjoy The World is Mine  by Lyah B. LeFore, Unsigned Hype by Booker T. Mattison or Hip Hop High School by Alan Lawrence Sitomer, just to name a couple.

But if you're more interested in true stories, you should check out our series of titles on major names in hip hop. These are true stories of sometimes hard beginnings, learning the ropes and working hard to make sure people heard their talent. If you want to hear all about before the fame as well as what happens after the fame sets in, these are the books for you. To see all the titles in this series, click here.
