A Last Taste of Summer: Crash Test Love

Crash Test Love by Ted Michael
Henry and his two best friends are the teenage equivalent of the Wedding Crashers. Except their event of choice is the Sweet Sixteen Party. At every party they give themselves a different identity and swoop in, the girls never knowing that they didn't so much as know the birthday girl, let alone have an invitation. It's a pretty excellent way to spend a senior year, that's for sure. No attachments, no standing dates and friends before ladies at all times...

Everything is going well until at one of these parties he meets Garrett, a girl who makes him stop in his tracks...

Garrett knows all about the politics of high school. The popular girls, the brains and the band geeks, she'd seen them all before. Now she's at a new school and the queen bees have her in their sights. They have a proposition for her, make Henry fall in love with her and then break up with him in front of everyone at a particularly important Sweet Sixteen party. Since Garrett is the type of girl who likes a challenge and not the type of girl to fall under the charms of some cad this should work out perfectly.... right?

All may be fair on the road to love and war, but sometimes you end up as a crash test dummy...
