Winners! Chosen by You!

At Central we had a poll asking you what you thought deserved to win the Printz this year. There were so many great titles in 2009 and every one had their favorites. Here's how our votes panned out:

Fire by Kristen Cashore
Was your number one pick for the Printz award. Click here for our review from the year end wrap up and also for a book trailer from the author.

Other picks by you were Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins; Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson; Leviathan by Scott Westerfield; The Hate List by Jennifer Brown; Liar by Justine Larbalestier and North of Beautiful by Justina Chen Headley.

Thanks for voting! We came up with some very different results from the Printz committee, but it just goes to show how great this year was for YA lit. Were there any books you think totally should have been selected by the Printz Committee? Do you like the teens' selections better than the committees'?
