March programs announced

Hey teens, below is a list of our scheduled March programs. Call 703-228-5946 or post on this blog with any questions. Hope to see you there!

High School TAB: Tuesday March 3 5-6:15 @ Central Library. Share, discuss, suggest, and debate your favorite (& your not-so-favorite) books with teens from all of the Arlington high schools. Central Library Young Adult Room.

Get Your Game: Monday March 9 3:30-5 @ Central Library. Wii Sports, Super Smash Brothers, Dance Dance Revolution, air hockey Rock Band and/or board games… Will also have programs on April 13, May 11, June 8.

Teens Write!: Tuesday March 10 4:30-5:30 @ Cherrydale Library. Writer's Workshop for Teens. Do you love to write? Join us as we have fun with creative writing exercises, share our work, and support each others' creative endeavors in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Bring copies of work you'd like to share.

Teen Tech Got A Gadget & Wii Party: Saturday March 14th 1:00-4:00 @ Shirlington. We’re looking for teen volunteers to help adults figure out how to use their iPods, laptops, digital cameras, & cell phones. You will get snacks and the satisfaction of sharing your knowledge. If interested, call 228-6545 or email youngadult@arlingtonva.us. After volunteering, join us for a fun game of Nintendo Wii!

Tween & Teen Screens: Sunday, March 15, 2 PM @ Shirlington. The Dark Knight. (2008) Rated PG-13, 152 minutes. Directed by Christopher Nolan. Featuring: Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart and Gary Oldman.

Get Your Game On!: Friday March 20 3:30–4:30 pm @ Central. Wii Sports, Super Smash Brothers, Dance Dance Revolution, air hockey Rock Band and/or board games…

Donut Day: Tuesday March 24 3:00-5:00 @ Central Library. Stop by Central Library’s Young Adult Room for hot chocolate and donuts. It's just our way of saying how much we appreciate our teens at the library!
